Nido Haigh Court Liverpool is a large block of student accommodation in the city centre which contains 180+ dormitories. The building was due an enhancement to the existing fire stopping facilities which included upgrade of fire doors, compartmentation, replacement of risers, installation of fire boards, minor electrical works and upgrades of control panels. Fibre Safe were commissioned to undertake a full asbestos survey in the areas where these works were taking place in order to highlight any possible asbestos materials which would be disturbed as part of the project.

As always Fibre Safe staff members worked closely with both the principal contractor whilst supporting the client throughout the process. The result was a comprehensive survey report which could be accessed by all parties, as and when required.
