Fibre Safe are asbestos removal experts that serve many North West and North Wales areas, from Liverpool to Gwynedd and everywhere in between. We pride ourselves on the quality and expertise of our employees and services and strive to serve our local communities in the best way we can by protecting people and businesses from asbestos every day.
How common is asbestos?
It’s quite astounding to think that asbestos can be found in over 4,000 building products, many of which are incredibly common to find. We have removed asbestos from a wide spectrum of buildings, from residential homes to hospitals, warehouses and even ships. Asbestos is incredibly damaging to your health, but the awareness of how to detect and handle asbestos is still so poor, despite the very negative potential impact on people.
Liverpool City Council and Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) do not provide any asbestos removal or handling services. Instead, as stated on their websites, they recommend that you enlist the help of a private contractor such as Fibre Safe.
We conduct the safe removal and disposal of asbestos products ranging wildly from garage roofs and sheds to floor tiles, water tanks to flue pipes and even asbestos cement panelling using our trained & accredited staff. Therefore, it is imperative that you don’t employ a ‘company’ that do not hold the expertise required to handle and remove such a dangerous material, and you certainly shouldn’t attempt any high-risk jobs yourself.
Projects Of All Sizes
Recently, Fibre Safe had a very interesting project on our hands with a former Liverpool Magistrates that has stood for over 150 years, which would have once brought to justice everyone from petty thieves to hardened gangsters. The Grade II listed building on Dale Street was the job for Fibre Safe, which delved deep into the heart of the historic building to survey and locate any potential ACMs (Asbestos Containing Materials) within. This is just one example of the different projects that we’ve dealt with over the years, and we’re just as comfortable surveying a three-bed semi as we are a Grade II listed former magistrates!
