Removing Asbestos from your Warrington property Safely
There are over 4000 different building products known to contain asbestos, many of which are common everyday items that you would never suspect. Asbestos is not only found in homes, but also in commercial & industrial buildings, ships, agricultural structures, hospitals, schools, etc.
In a commercial building, it is a legal requirement to have an asbestos survey & management plan. It is important for your health to avoid disturbing asbestos-containing materials. Asbestos is found in a wide range of products, not all of which can be listed here, so we have compiled a short video giving an overview of the most common types of asbestos containing materials our surveyors come across.
Asbestos materials must only be handled by a person who is properly qualified, trained, and competent. For more information or to book an inspection, please contact us on 0151 538 3084

Commercial Asbestos Survey Chester
Watergate Street, Chester
June 2024. Fibre Safe conducted a targeted refurbishment survey on a commercial building on Watergate Street in Chester, to locate and describe all asbestos containing materials (ACM’s) in the area where refurbishment works were due to take place.
Targeted refurbishment surveys are fully intrusive and involve destructive inspection, as necessary, to gain access to all areas, including those that may be difficult to reach.
We began with an initial walk through to assess any potential risks and identify any possible hazards to the project. Our surveying team then worked methodically through the whole schedule of works, using their expertise to locate and identify possible ACMs. The suspected items are then sampled and analysed to UKAS standards.
