Fibre Safe was set up in 2004 to provide complete asbestos solutions and is one of the leading asbestos companies in the North West & North Wales area, specialising in all aspects of commercial and domestic services.

Asbestos is known to be in over 4000 different building products, many of which are common everyday items that you wouldn’t suspect. Asbestos is not just found in people’s homes, but also commercial & industrial buildings, ships, agricultural structures, hospitals, schools etc.
It is important to your health to ensure that you do not disturb asbestos containing materials and in a commercial premises it is a legal requirement to have an asbestos survey & management plan. Is White Asbestos Dangerous?
An enormous amount of asbestos was used in the UK construction industry pre-1999. This means that there is a very real possibility of coming across asbestos in any home built before this time; in fact, contrasting figures recently showed that between 50-70% of homes in Britain contain some form of asbestos.
Asbestos Survey for First Time Buyers
First introduced in the UK in the mid-1980s, asbestos prohibition laws banned the import and use of blue and brown asbestos, also known as crocidolite and amosite asbestos. The use of asbestos was later fully banned in 1999.
What Types of Asbestos are the Most Dangerous?
Asbestos is the general name given to several naturally occurring fibrous minerals that have crystallised to form long thin fibres. Asbestos can be sub-divided into two groups – serpentine, also known as white asbestos, and amphiboles, also known as blue and brown asbestos.
